I guess it is true that all good things must come to an end.....I'M GRADUATING!!!!! I'm sooo excited because when I entered UCA of course I knew I wanted to graduate but actually thinking about it and doing it.....WOW didn't think about that part too much!! Now that I look back at my stay here I don't have ANY REGRETS!! Good or bad everything was only there to make me stronger and I have appreciated every minute!! I think I am leaving UCA with a pretty positive name around here. I can honestly say that I have accomplished a lot of things here and got to be a part of many organizations....I would like to think that I was sort of a BIG DEAL around campus! (lol) But really I have enjoyed my college years and made some lifelong friends! Everyday has been a new lesson learned that will hopefully make me better in the future. To everyone who has played any role in my college career (positive or negative) I thank you because I wouldn't have made it w/o you. I look forward to the future, I don't know whats to come, but whatever it is I can handle!! ALWAYS REMEMBER, Take each day as it comes to you, there's always going to be a new obstacle ahead of you but with each one behind you, day by day, you only get STRONGER!! LIVE, LOVE, & LAUGH!!! IM OUT UCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIFE IS GR8, EXACTLY 16 DAYZ UNITL I GRADUATE AND IT'S REALLY OFFICIAL NOW BECAUSE MY SR. PORTFOLIO PASSED!!!!! EVERYTHING IS GOING GOOD AND IM SURE YOU CAN TELL MY EXCITEMENT BECAUSE IM TYPING IN ALL CAPS TODAY!! OH YEA WE WENT AND SHOT THE NEW UCA COMMERCIAL YESTERDAY AND I HAD A LOT OF FUN, I THINK I GOT IT DOWN PACK AFTER THE 2ND OR 3RD OR 4TH LOL ATTEMPT!!! MAN EVERYTHING IS GR8!! HOPE UR EXCITED AS I AM RIGHT NOW! HAVE A GOOD DAY! HOLLA!!!

3 WEEKS & 2 DAYS LEFT!!!

It is exactly 3 weeks & 2 days away from GRADUATION!!!!! I am sooooooooooooooo and I do mean soooooo READY! The more excited I get the s l o w e r it seems to come. I guess I can't complain though, so Im just trying to enjoy my last few weeks around UCA as an undergrad!! Still doesn't seem as though I have been here a very long time but my time is running out. I think I have accomplished a lot while being on campus so my stay wasn't a complete waste!!! lol Well thats all I got for this week C ya!.....Oh yea be sure to come out to the ALL GREEK STEPSHOW tonight in the Farris Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CRAZIEST WEEK EVER!!!!!

This has been the craziest week ever! I won't go into details but it has just been sooo many ups and downs, and a little bit of everything. On top of the ups and downs I've been kinda under the weather, but what really sucks is I didn't really have time to be sick so I had to keep it moving!! I had to teach two group exercise classes tuesday and thursday which was a lot of fun but I would just prefer to teach 1! On another note Spring Fling on Tuesday was a BLAST!!! lol Rides, food, funnel cakes....What more could you ask for!

SPRING!!!

Spring is officially here!! The weather is still weird though because some days it's still cold and then other days it feels like Spring...it's crazy! Despite that I still like the spring because everything seems to go on around campus in the spring. Things are a lot more hectic, it seems to be more people on campus, and it's my birthday season!!! But most importantly GRADUATION is right AROUND THE CORNER!!!! I can't wait becuase I DEFINITELY need a break from this school thing, lol!...... Umm well thats all I can think of for now! G2G

Wassup, life is still pretty great except for I am EXTEMELY sleepy this morning...I think it's the rain! When it rains I just want to lay in my bed and do NOTHING! O well, despite that everybody around here is EXCITED because SPRING BREAK is 2days away YIIIIPPPPPEE!!!! lol, I think everybody, and I do mean everybody from UCA is going to be in Panama, except me! lol. I think I will just stay around here and get some much needed SLEEP!! I might go back home for a day or two but for the most part I'll be chillaxin (yes it's a word)! Well whatever you do for S.B. enjoy yourself and BE SAFE!!! holla!!!

CONWAY WEATHER!!!

Uggghhh, yesterday it was a great day outside, about 70 degrees, nice wind blowing, just a good day to be outside! TODAY! Freezing cold again, hard wind, and raining!!!! Days like this I wish I could just stay in the house under my covers and do absolutely nothing!! I slept with the window up all last night and since it got cold over night my throat has been scratchy all day!! Now im just sitting at work watching the time go by ever so slowly.....TICK................TOCK.................TICK...............................TOCK!!!! Oh well, other than that stuff im still doing GREAT!!! Living life to the fullest and trying to enjoy every minute! I sang the National Anthem last night @ Pledge King & everybody seemed to LOVE IT!! lol.....Thats all my thoughts for now so IM OUT!!!

This blog is just to give you a brief update of everything going on in my life at this present time...
Today I had to turn in my Sr. Portfolio (which I stayed in the night owl half the night working on) lol its kinda like a review over everything I have learned since I started this major! It is a lot of work but I am grateful because they cut it down a lot!!! Also for my intern i am still working on my major project and getting all the details squared away for it, my project is the Bench Press Competition, which is March 14th 2009 @ 2:00 p.m in the HPER Center. And last but not least, I am being honored along with the other students who made Who's Who tomorrow during halftime of the sugarbears basketball game! So come out and support!!!!!
Well that's all going on in my life for now...........HOLLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this is kind of a random post because I normally do this during the day when Im at my workstudy, but right now im in the library, just finished up some last minute homework !! I don't know what I would have done without this place over my college career, since I never decided to buy my own computer it's usually where I LIVE when I have to type a paper, email or most importantly FACEBOOK!!!!! But this was just a little quick blog for ya, I'll come up with something more exciting before the week is out, til then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLLA!!!

WHO'S WHO!!!!

Remember last week I was waiting to see if I made Who's Who......I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was pretty excited about being one out of the 31(i think). On another note, my intern is still going real good, Im getting the hang of everything and gaining some great experience. Graduation in May is looking brighter and brighter....The last day to submit your graduation application is on friday so i gotta get mine turned in!! Life is really great right now and I have absolutely no complaints!!....Well my thoughts have ran out for today so, IM OUT!!!!

Well it is true all good things must come to an end!!!!! IM GRADUATING IN MAY!!!!! YIPPEEE!! Everything worked out at the end of last semester I passed my classes and my certification exam so May looks bright for me! Thank GOD!!!! This semester I am just interning and working so I can't complain, it is a rather easy semester as long as I stay on top of my intern! In other news and life around campus everything else is A ok and seems to be falling in place perfectly!! My most recent news is I applied for Who's Who this past friday so Im waiting to hear from that on the 9th, well until then KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!!! (toes, eyes, and everything else you can cross too) lolol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, this is a MUCH NEEDED BREAK! I am looking forward to going home and hopefully getting some rest while spending THANKSGIVING with my family!! Plus i get to eat all I want, (my favorite part). Another good thing about this break is when we get back we only have 2 more weeks left of class and WE ARE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im really anticipating that...although this semester has went by fast! OH WELL! lol But have a great Thanksgiving break eat a lot and BE THANKFUL!!!! Holla

What do you do when EVERYTHING & EVERYONE around you seems to be going completely out of control?? Things are really getting crazy around the world as of late so it really makes me think about things...little things that we often take for granted, especially LIFE! I urge everyone to stay praying for yourself and the people around you because you never know whats going on or what could happen! Not to scare anyone but this is a REALITY CHECK!! My prayers go out to the families of the young men who lost their lives! R.I.L!

Survival of the Fittest!!!

Hey everybody!! This post is dedicated to helping you make a smooth transition through college! A few weeks ago my fraternity had a program entitled "Survival of the Fittest" A development in College Life, and we had a speaker to come and hopefully give some good advice about college life. With that being said one of the first things you have to do to survive is realize you have a lot of freedom in college (away from home) and then understand how to use it wisely! You can't get to school and 4get everything your parents taught you in the 1st week then flunk out. Be wise with your freedom. Next if you don't already have good study habits definitely try to develop them, it will only help you in the future! Next, don't get caught up and fall in love to the point where you can't do anything or go anywhere without your "wife/husband" Relationships are good but don't 4get about your education and everything around you! Also utilize all the resources you have offered to you on campus THEY HELP, & YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR THEM!!! Need to workout? HPER CENTER! Need a paper reviewed? The writing center in Win Thompson. Need a tutor? The basement of Ida Waldron! Flu season is coming up....STUDENT HEALTH!! And my favorite resource...THE NIGHT OWL!!! After the library closes you can go in between 12:00 a.m. and 6 a.m. and get that paper done or just some extra studying it's the best place to go, and STEVE IS AWESOME!!!! lol You have so many resources USE THEM! Last but not least GET INVOLVED!!! Don't have a dry and boring college experience! Join some RSO'S (registered student organizations) and play an active role on campus! It balances out all the studying you have to do!!

Wassup everybody! Ok you remember in my last blog I was telling you about I was running for SGA Senator @ Large.... I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LoL! I was really excited about it because now its a new chapter in my life and I look forward to taking on the challenge! So now I can add Student Government Association to my list of RSO'S! :-) At 1st I never paid SGA any attention and thought it wasn't much of my concern but now I would urge all students, if you think SGA is for you then give it a try, especially to incoming freshmen or current freshmen. Start early don't wait until your last year to get on like ME! LOL! You can make a difference in the way your school is operated! Don't be afraid to get involved and try to make a POSITIVE CHANGE! So, the phrase until next time I blog is GET INVOLVED!!! Holla!

SENIOR YEAR!!!

So my senior year has started and it's already CRAZY BUSY!!! The meetings, RSO events, exec boards, and oh yea CLASS!! lol, Everything is back in full swing! I enjoy being busy but I think I was expecting things to start a little slower so I could transition from summer, but O well! This is also my last semester of classes so thats got me a lil excited, then I do an internship in the Spring and then GRADUATION!!!!!!!!!!!! So on top of being crazy busy LIFE IS STILL GR8!!! Oh and by the way im trying to take on a new role on campus, Im running for SGA Senator @ Large! I really think I could play an active part in our student government so hopefully in my next blog I can share some good news!!! Until then, thats all of my thoughts for now! HOLLA!!!

SUMMER BEGINS!!!

OK, so the school year is over and it is SUMMER TIME!!! LoL!, I finished up pretty good with my finals but of course I could have done a lot better but at the same time, considering my stress level and long nights the whole semester...I was just ready to get finished! Now that the semester is over u might ask, WHAT'S NEXT?? Well I had a week break celebrated my bday(May 5th) and then started right back with classes this past monday! lol...Yea I had to take May Intercession because for our major its the only time this class is offered, yea it sucks but then again its only a 3 week class so I can't complain! After that I start 2 classes for summer I...Yea I know im on my hustle but I have to because this is my last year and im outta here! lol, No time to lose!!! LOL! Well thats just a brief look at the beginning of my summer so I'll be back on soon 2 keep u updated! HOLLA!

FINALS!!!

OK, so its finals week and this place is HECTIC!!! LoL! Besides all the studying and stressing finals week is my favorite time of the semester...Y?? Because that means the semester is ENDING and 2 it just seems like you have so much more free time, mainly because you don't have class! Now don't get me wrong I take finals seriously but at the same time I work hard throuhgout the semester so I don't have to go crazy studying when they actually get here! LoL, I just get some extra sleep in study a lilttle bit and let the test take care of themselves! I guess I can leave you guys with a few tips to help you have a successful finals week...1, Make sure you get enough rest so you can be well rested when its time to take your tests, 2. Make sure to eat b4 you take a test, it always helps me focus when I don't have to listen to my stomach growling! (lol). 3. Find time in there somwhere to do a little studying that always seems to help. 4. DON'T STRESS OUT!!! Well I hope my tips help you out. HAPPY FINALS!!!!

End of the World!!!

April 5th 2008!!! The big date that everybody has been waiting on since last year! End of the World!!! Well being at the show and working it, gives me 1st hand experience and I can tell you this was definitely the BEST year that I have witnessed! We had 9 total acts with 4 entertainment groups, and each act was great! The EOTW Greekshow has now been going on for 30 years strong and it is an excellent tradition here in conway! A lot of people confuse the aftermath and what goes on later with our show but it has NOTHING to do with what we have been doing and continuing to do in the Farris Center for the past 30 years! Like I said its a gr8 tradition and I look forward to seeing it around 30 more years!!!!
